The EXP Viewer enables you to view and print documents created by EXP versions 3.0 and later. These documents may have been posted on the web or they may have been distributed by other means.
Note: If you already own EXP 5.1, there is no need for you to install the EXP Viewer. The viewer is strictly for those people who need to view EXP documents and do not own EXP 5.1. In fact, EXP 5.1 and the EXP Viewer should not be installed at the same time.
Note: If you are running Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows may display a security warning when you run the downloaded file. It is safe to click the Run button to proceed.
The EXP Viewer has the same functionality as the full EXP 5.1 product, with the following exceptions:
The viewer includes the full EXP 5.1 help system. It also includes the sample document "Binomial.wxp".
After you have installed the EXP Viewer, you can test your system's ability to view EXP documents posted on the web by clicking on the following link that points to the EXP sample document "Binomial.wxp".
When you click on a link that points to an EXP document file (.WXP extension) your browser should automatically download the EXP file and then launch the EXP Viewer to view it. Note that the EXP document will not appear inside the browser's window; it will be displayed in a separate EXP window.
To include a hyperlink to an EXP .WXP file in your HTML page, use a tag of the following form:
