Compatibility of EXP with Windows XP
EXP 6.1–6.3.1
- EXP 6.1–6.3.1 are not compatible with Windows XP.
EXP 6.0
- All shipments of EXP 6.0 on USB flash drive are fully compatible with Windows XP.
- Service packs for EXP 6.0 are not supported on Windows XP because the operating system does not support SHA-256 digital signatures. Microsoft recommends that
software developers switch from the older less secure SHA-1 signatures to the newer more secure SHA-256 signatures.
EXP 5.1
- EXP 5.1 and all its service packs are compatible with Windows XP.
