Changes to EXP for Version 6.0:
Bug Fixes
- Versions of EXP prior to EXP 6.0 contain a bug in the logic that handles page orientation transitions between portrait and landscape. The bug manifests itself in two ways:
(1) EXP may crash during Print Preview, (2) EXP may print the pages following a page orientation transition incorrectly. These problems only occur under rare circumstances, which
is why they went undetected for so long. This bug has been corrected as of EXP 6.0.
- When using a PostScript printer and Windows XP, EXP 5.1 may not display JPEG graphics in Print Preview. After the release of EXP 5.1, Microsoft upgraded the PostScript
printer driver in a manner that disrupted some logic inside EXP 5.1. This problem has been corrected as of EXP 6.0.
- In EXP 5.1 there is a bug in the spelling checker option "Ignore words containing numbers". This option does not work correctly in conjunction with the option "Ignore
repeated words". This bug has been corrected as of EXP 6.0.
