Why doesn’t EXP print math correctly on my LaserJet printer?

There is a problem with some versions of the PCL driver for some LaserJet printers. Although plain text prints correctly, math formatted by EXP does not. Fortunately, you can easily get around the problem by performing the following steps:

  1. From the Start menu, choose Settings and then Printers.
  2. Right-click the icon for your LaserJet printer. Windows will display a popup menu.
  3. Choose Properties from the popup menu. Windows will display the printer's Properties dialog box.
  4. Click the Fonts tab.
  5. Select the option labeled "Download TrueType fonts as bitmap soft fonts".
  6. Choose the OK button.

After performing these steps EXP will be able to print math correctly.
